The Lotus QuickPlace Collaborative Zones are a premiere element of the Arctic Blast expedition -  offered to the first 1000 schools to register within North America.
This Collaborative Zone section provides the ability for teachers and students to collaborate with other classrooms across North America on important study circle topics, such as world resource usage, cultural diversity and pollution.  Participating schools will also take part in on-line discussions with the expedition team during their trek using Lotus Sametime moderated chat.

If you would like to receive information on our future Online Classroom Expedition programs involving the QuickPlace technology -- or just to learn more about using Lotus QuickPlace and Lotus Sametime technology in the schools, then sign up here.

Without the support of Lotus technology and their host Connectria, this dynamic learning environment of Arctic Blast 2001 would not be possible.
