Big and slow when he was a pup, Saami is now a small fast running machine! He is very affectionate and always FULL of energy. 

Saami is named after the name of native people in Lapland; an area in the northernmost part of Sweden, Norway and Finland and western Russia. They are a nomadic people living on the tundra with their reindeer, traveling on foot from one region to another to find food for the animals.
